🔒 Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 29, 2026
Overview
Milliways Arcade is a free browser-based game collection. We are committed to
protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it,
and your rights regarding that data.
The short version: We don't collect personal information. We don't track you. We don't use cookies for advertising. Your game data stays on your device unless you choose to submit a leaderboard score.
Data We Collect
Leaderboard scores (optional)
- If you choose to set a nickname and submit a score, we store your chosen nickname, the game name, your score, and the date.
- This data is stored on Cloudflare KV (a cloud key-value store) and is publicly visible on the leaderboard.
- No email, real name, account, or login is required.
- You can use any nickname — it does not need to identify you.
Local storage
- We use your browser's localStorage to save your nickname preference and a local cache of scores.
- This data never leaves your device unless you submit a score.
- You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.
Multiplayer rooms (optional)
- If you create or join an online multiplayer room, your chosen nickname and game moves are temporarily stored on Cloudflare KV.
- Room data is ephemeral and automatically expires.
Data We Do Not Collect
- No personal information (name, email, phone, address)
- No device identifiers or fingerprinting
- No location data
- No analytics or tracking scripts
- No advertising cookies or third-party trackers
- No user accounts or passwords
Third-Party Services
The app is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect
standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, request time) as part of their
infrastructure. This is governed by
Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking service.
Children's Privacy
Milliways Arcade does not knowingly collect any personal information from children
under 13. The app does not require an account, login, or any personal details to play.
Leaderboard nicknames are voluntary and do not need to contain real names.
Your Rights
- You can play all games without submitting any data.
- You can clear your local data at any time via browser settings.
- If you want a leaderboard score removed, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
If we make changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
